• Melodic Minor Scales in all keys; two octaves except C, C#, D and E flat
• Bowing: Spiccato four rep. notes, MM Crotchet = 66; Hook stroke, MM Crotchet = 72; Four notes slurred to bow, MM Crotchet = 72
• Arpeggios - compass & keys as scale requirement; separate bows, MM Crotchet = 100
• Chromatic Scales - 2 Octaves, ascending & descending; commencing on F#, B flat & B; 3 notes slurred to bow, MM Crotchet = 50
